Smart living is becoming more popular and more people are building smart homes. One example is me from Turkey. I am building a three-bedroom town house for my family and I want to make the house as intelligent as possible.
I plan to use only green electricity. I am going to put a wind turbine on the roof to make electricity and I am going to use solar panels to make electricity.
There aren't going to be the usual safety features: there are going to be fingerprint locks to enter the house and there are going to be security lights on the outside.
The inside of the house, isn't going to be like a traditional house either. I am planning to save electricity. Instead of normal lights, I am going to use automatic lighting so that when no one is in the room, the lights will switch off automatically. The fridge is going to be controlled by a computer and tell my family when they need to go shopping. Are we going to go shopping by car? Not in a normal car: we are going to use an electric car and fill it with electricity with a charging point in the garage.
What are we going to do in the evening for entertainment? I have plans to build a sauna next to the garage and have a home-entertainment system to watch films after work.
